INTRODUCTION

Programiz PRO is a code learning platform for beginner coders. The PRO Challenges is a gamified coding experience where you earn XP for solving challenges, climb a leaderboard, and share solutions for the community to learn from and rank.

But learning from chat did not give the sense of community or the test that happens when you learn coding without it.

So think leetcode+stackoverflow

MY ROLE

For this project I worked as the lead designer and project lead. I worked alongside Programiz team(data, dev, management) as well as the stakeholders. I was responsible for designing the UI and testing out the product.

When AI entered the landscape, platforms like Programiz took a hit.

Why learn from a platform when ChatGPT could teach you everything?

But learning from a chatbot lacks two things community and the real test of solving problems on your own.

Pinterest- a platform that lets you organize pictures called pins to boards.

HOW IT SOLVED?

The feature I added was called Baskets, an extra bucket in the app where you can drag and drop pins before committing them to boards. The basket is AI integrated which organizes the pins you have added to boards that make sense or creates a new board for you. And ofcourse you have an option to do it all yourself without the help of AI.
