I’m Riya, a product designer from Nepal, now based in New York, and I'm the kind of person who reads three books at once, sketches on napkins, and can lose an entire afternoon sitting in a park doing nothing, calling it inspiration. I'm endlessly curious about people, ideas, and how things actually work, and I love teaching almost as much as I love learning.

That curiosity is what I bring to design work: exploring unfamiliar problems, noticing the details other people scroll past, and finding the clarity hiding inside something complicated. I've learned that most things, a new tool, an unfamiliar industry, a gnarly interaction pattern, start to make sense once I'm willing to sit with them long enough.

Fun fact: I was born on Holi, the day of colors and start of Spring! which feels about right.
